Who I Am
Therapy grounded in genuine connection.
I'm a psychotherapist and certified psychoanalyst in private practice in Union Square, New York City. I work with teens, college students, and adults navigating anxiety, identity, relationships, and the full complexity of becoming who you are and building a life that feels like your own.
I see my work as grounded in deep listening and forming a genuine, active, and flexible working relationship with each of my clients. It's a joy to support people in their personal growth and see them experience greater clarity in their unique strengths and values over the course of therapy.
My approach is relational and psychodynamic — which means I'm less interested in fixing symptoms than in understanding what's underneath them, together.

Training & Background
Education & Experience
I hold an MSW from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, where I graduated with Honors in Clinical Social Work, and a BA in Art History from Oberlin College. I have worked as a staff psychotherapist across a range of settings, including a community-based psychoanalytic institute, group private practice, a young adult literacy program, and higher education campus counseling.
I completed a four-year post-graduate psychoanalytic training program at the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Study Center (PPSC) in New York City — a program that includes intensive clinical supervision, theoretical coursework, and a personal analysis. I am a certified psychoanalyst and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am licensed in New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.
Psychoanalytic certification is held by relatively few clinicians in private practice. What this means for you: the work I do is informed not just by theory, but by years of intensive supervised clinical practice and my own experience of being in analysis — a depth of training that shapes everything about how I work.

A Note
My own experiences in therapy shaped how I think about what it means to be in the room with someone — present, curious, and willing to be affected by what they bring.
I take the gesture of trust that therapy requires seriously, and I don't take it for granted.
